He started as a photographer for the first Rock Magazine in Italy. Since then he has established himself as a "phantomatic" free-lancer.

From "ELLE" to "PLAYBOY", from "STERN" to "PARIS-MATCH" from "MAX" to "TRAVELLING PEOPLE", from "AD- Architectural Digest" to "MODA", Sarjano has contributed for over 30 years to the most incredible variety of Glossies from all over the world.

He is the author of a large-format photographic book on the life and the work of the legendary group "THE LIVING THEATRE".

For the past 20 years Sarjano has been holding International Photo-workshops under the name of "THE EYE OF THE WITNESS: How to Improve Our capacity of Seeing".

For the past year, Sarjano has been traveling with the "ART-PIX EXHIBITION" titled "OCCHIO MIO DIO" ( "Eye My God") in galleries, art centers and universities in London, Tokyo, Rome Milan and Sydney.

Currently Sarjano lives in Koregaon Park in Pune, India.
